About Me

Geoffrey Martin

I have lived in Bedford for well over fifty years and for the last twenty five years healing has been a large part of my life.

Having spent all of my working life in one of the caring professions my listening skills are well honed. About twenty five years ago I gradually became aware that people were getting more from me than just being listened to and, as so often happens, the possibility of developing this characteristic presented itself as an exploratory course for healing at Claridge House, a Quaker centre in Surrey for healing, rest and renewal. It was a good and very interesting experience and I did a follow-up weekend a few months later.

I could see that, as with so many things, the more you know the more there is to know and to further my interest I was recommended to the College of Healing which, in 1994, was situated in West Malvern. The course consisted of three separate residential weeks spread over one year. After each week we were required to submit written work to the tutors, and moving through to the following week of the course was by invitation only. The experience made me see the world from a different perspective and I sensed that the energy that I was channelling was stronger than it had been.

Now that I am retired from full time employment I am able to devote to healing as much time as is required.
